About
If you're in the vibrant heart of Los Angeles, make sure to swing by BADMAASH Fairfax. Nestled at 418 N Fairfax Ave, this restaurant has taken the Indian food scene and given it a bold twist that promises to excite your palate.
Crowned with rave reviews, BADMAASH's culinary offerings are a delightful fusion of authentic Indian flavors with a contemporary touch. Their COCONUT CURRY MUSSELS are a standout, featuring mussels steamed 'madrasi' style in a luscious coconut milk sauce. The bright notes of lime and herbs perfectly complement the richness of the dish, making it a must-try for seafood lovers and curry enthusiasts alike, priced at just US$24.
For those who crave comfort food with an Indian twist, look no further than the FRIED BUTTER CHICKEN SAMMICH. It features crispy chicken tossed in a spicy butter chicken sauce, tucked into a soft grocery store bun with fresh pickles and lettuce for US$18. It's a delightful homage to two beloved culinary worlds.
The ambiance at BADMAASH is lively, with beats that echo through the space, creating a fun dining experience. As one customer aptly noted, "With the amount of Drake bumping on the speakers, you’d think the restaurant has taken his side in the beef with Kendrick." As the music fills the air, you’ll find yourself immersed in a vibrant energy that matches the creative spunk of their menu.
But don’t just take my word for it; rave reviews from patrons highlight consistency in quality and service. From the CHICKEN TIKKA POUTINE, which combines masala fries with cheese curds for a textured delight, to the classic mango lassi that perfectly quenches your thirst, each dish tells a story of passion and flavor. As Abhinav Ranjan shared, "The food is great. Can’t go wrong with the appetizers." His recommendation to pair your chicken with rosemary naan is spot on!
The eclectic drink menu features unique offerings, including a selection of orange wines, allowing you to explore complementary flavors with each mouthful. Whether you're a die-hard foodie or just in for a casual meal, BADMAASH Fairfax caters beautifully to both.
So for a unique gastronomic adventure that combines tradition with innovation, make a beeline for BADMAASH Fairfax. You'll leave satisfied, planning your next visit!
“ With the amount of Drake bumping on the speakers, you’d think the restaurant has taken his side in the beef with Kendrick. If you’re Indian and notice there are mostly non-Indians here (like my dad first pointed out), let me put your doubts to rest. The food is great. Can’t go wrong with the appetizers, so snag a few. I usually go with chicken for a main, which pairs well with the rosemary naan. Wash it all down with a mango lassi, and you’ll be satisfactorily full. Looking forward to the spot opening in Venice, soon. ”
“ Was here on Sunday...came back again on Wednesday, what more do I need to say? Both times were at strange hours during the day so it was pretty quiet-as hard for me to believe they would ever be with as delicious as the food is. Id honestly expect a line around the block. We were quickly seated and our servers both times were incredibly attentive. Tried the Yogurt Puffs, Onion Fritters, one of each of the Samosas and Tikka Masala with Rosemary Naan. I would absolutely recommend stopping by to treat yourself to the delicious food! You wont regret the decision. ”
“ I had a lengthy layover at the LA airport. I rented a car to find and eat at Badmaash, on Fairfax Ave. It is a satisfying mix of truly authentic Indian food with additional creative house favorites on the menu! I was very pleased with the flavors of their familiar traditional favorites: naan, roti, mango lassi, tikka masala, samosas, Punjabi, fries onions, amazing dips and sauces. And I tried a couple new things, too: The South Indian Fish Moilee was a new and different taste and I loved it, as well as the coconut curry mussels. It was a feast! It made my day! I definitely recommend this place! ”
“ I had the coconut curry mussels. They were fantastic. I recommend getting a lot of rice and naan with that dish because there's so much leftover sauce. The staff was great. The atmosphere was fun - the music is pretty loud but not so loud that you can't hear the convo. I'll definitely be back to try more of the unique "Badmaash Favorites". ”
“ Badmaash is one of my favorite restaurants in the city! I don’t think they make anything bad. Everything I’ve had has had my tastebuds jumping. My favorite thing on the menu is the chicken Tikka Poutine! ”
“ We randomly found this place on our LA vacation, very tasty food, the desserts are delicious! I totally recommend ”
“ The food here was amazing! We started with the Maslaa potato fries which were like a 6/10. but then we had the Dahi Puri which was just amazing! The butter chicken samosa and cheese naan were all great, but then the butter chicken and south Indian fish curry had such an amazing taste with the rice. Then for dessert we had the kheer which was great too. I would give badmaash an 11/10, if you're craving indian food definitely come here. ”
“ Absolutely fantastic food! Very balanced spices on the traditional Indian food such as the fried fish and pork curry. Loved the innovative poutine, chilli cheese naan. I was very pleasantly surprised by how tasty the broccolini was. And to top it all the ParleG ice cream sandwich. Highly recommended. ”
